not as good as the seer but great album anyway

well tbh I listened to the Seer like once, so can't compare. I like this better than the great annihilator so far (which is also excellent) and Children of God is my favourite Swans album I've heard so far.

actually i really love the seer, CoG and soundtracks for the blind are my other favs from them

The country/folk/Americana influences here make this record really stick out in their discography. It's like driving through Tornado Alley and watching one of those fucker's touchdown right in front of you.
