So I just listened too one song. The music is good, but will take me some time to get used too, and the vocals too... basically everything. Is all a matter of time, like it was with CTTS, Thursday, and ATDI, but I honestly don't think I'll ever get to like it or apreciate it as much as you guys do.

So I got over myslef and listened to this. Quite an acid trip. Found it kind of boring at parts and the musical distorsion annoyed me a couple of times, but all in all it was very good.
3.5 for now, might change into a 4 if it grows on me more after I listen to it more.

it took me a while to like this album (probably needed some time to figure out which songs were which), but now i really do. i still can only understand about a dozen words on the entire album, but that's never stopped me from enjoying the vocal melodies themselves.

Seriously. Shields himself said McGee exaggerated the cost "because he thought it woud be cool". He also said the most they could've spent on it was 160.000 pounds, most of it MBV's funds. "Creation probably spent 15.000-20.000 of their own money [...] They never showed us any accounts, and then they got bought out by Sony".

turn the wow effect up on wmp for an interesting listen. like 80% up and the guitars are much more prominent.
