I think this takes the sound on fixation even further, but either way both are pretty much tied for best metalcore, at least for me. I love Keith Huckins dissonant guitar playing, and Tim Singer is the perfect hardcore vocalist.

The vocal performance here is one of my favorites in the genre. Agreed on early metalcore being a goldmine too. So many good albums within the style. Done a few deep dives and still have many more to discover
