It is low but not as low as forbidden.

When Death Calls really blew me away the first time I heard it. I was surprised when I read that Brian May (of Queen fame) apparently played the solo.

Some of the stories surrounding this album's recording are quite interesting to say the least.

I recall reading that the lyrics to the title track were inspired by a story that happened in a small village during the Middle Ages while the great plague was going through Europe. The inhabitants of the village, having no idea of what to do, used to go to the hill of the headless cross where they prayed to god for help.

It seems to be a well-known story among fans about what inspired this album's title, but I found it a bit intriguing.
