Ys and Have One on Me are classics but this is mostly boring harp-based pop songs with an annoying voice.

"That sounds awfully presumptuous to me. But to answer your question, I think I'd say that my favorite work from the 20th century is probably the Quatuor pour la fin de temps. Messiaen is one of my favorite composers (and Vingt regards could take the Quatuor's place on any other day)"

wow, i had no idea someone had responded at such length to this review. thanks for the feedback louiseyana and Conradtao

What is your favorite composition by your favorite 20th century master, with legitimate reasoning aside from the fact that it sounds impressive to the uneducated?

for orchestra, either Prokofiev's Symphony no. 7 or Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra

as far as chamber music goes i would probably have to say Ravel's Piano Trio in A Minor

Such a great writer, and I think she is awesome but the arrangments on Ys. make it her best. Also holy shit she is so hot
