The first time I listened to this album, the standouts were the singles - i.e. "The Kill", "Attack", "A Beautiful Lie". And for a while, that's all I listened to. Then, I started really listening to all the neat little things 30 does here - particularly on "The Fantasy", "The Story", and "The Hunter". Jared really stands out on those last two. And all throughout those more offbeat songs, I can hear a lot of their old album. I wish there was a bit more of that , but over all, I have few complaints. Very few albums make me want to listen again and draw second opinions - falling in love with songs I thought were crap on first listen.

I'd give this album a 3.5! Attack, The Kill, The Hunter, Battle of One, and A Modern Myth are the only stand out songs and they REALLY stand out. The rest are good but just don't aren't as memorable. Probably because they don't have as much energy or emotion as the highlights do.
