This! I didn't like it that much at first but then it grew into me. Thing is, it's not an album I would want to listen, but if it comes up on shuffle I won't complain.

Except Alcest isn't that heavy and more noisy (less post-metal, more shoegazey).

Well yeah shoegaze and post-metal elements go into Alcest's music. And yeah Baphomet it is more like a mixture of Alcest and Leviathan. That's the best way to describe it.

And I feel like it's not a better style, just really different. While those three focus on the melody and ambiance of pm (the "post" part), this focuses more in its industrial-ish side.
