What gets me the most is how well executed the vocals are. In a lot of progressive acts, it seems like the vocalist is trying too hard to come off as deep and mysterious. This guy isn't trying to be anything and his vocals flow like no other.

I def get what you're saying about the vocals.
It's a shame they had to call it quits. I'd like to know more about what these guys are going to do for future work.

Savant is one of the best songs ever written hands down.

Omg yes British Theatre.
Based on the different projects the band members split into, it seems like the band was kinda split
between Vennert/Gambler and Hodson/Heron.

It really makes me wonder if there was some sort of rift in the band. But that seems unlikely. I'm sure they just wanted to move on.

I think if there was any sort of rift it would be with Durose. Did you guys know he's now with Amplifier providing guitar on tour? I truly think (know, in my heart) that the reason was money. They just weren't getting where they wanted to be financially.

Oh shit, that would actually make sense, with Durose wanting to do that. He's not listed on the site at all for new projects and I do know they were struggling with finances for a good while.

I've just gotta imagine that after 12-13 years of playing and having tried out the commercial (kinda) side of things and not reaching success, they just decided to let it die. I also think age has to do with it. Vennart tied the knot a year and a half ago, and I've gotta imagine that the prospect of being with a band that requires such dedication as 'Size was interfering with things. But yeah, I'm pretty sure things went down hard with Durose one way or another. You can just feel it.

Money is surely a big factor. They couldn't ever get a decent sized tour for themselves, and I bet they were barely even getting paid enough to make a career out of music. Whatever the cause, I guess breaking up is better than going on too long and becoming washed up and mediocre.
We need more 'Size talk on this site. This band has been barely mentioned since they broke up.

And yeah I have a feeling the whole thing came down hard on Durose. It seems he was just left to pick up the pieces.
