So basically what you're trying to get at is that you don't like artists that allow their lyrics to become too personal? It seems a little crazy to me that someone wouldn't want an artist to become more involved and put their own background and emotions into their work of art.

Universal truths that were once personal opinions.....kinda ironic.

Blew 45 dollars on the LP reissue + shirt deal. Totally worth it.

Can you get the shirt without the vinyl or do you have to get both?

I figured out why I like this review. Completely disagree with the rating, but you made an excellent case to support your rating. It's almost like an academic essay; you set up an arguable thesis, then backed it up with examples from the original text and everything.

Even though I disagree with your eventual conclusion, the methodical way you went about writing this makes it a really pleasant read.

I would have to take a look at the individual Bob Dylan albums to judge them.

review was incredibly interesting, but my biggest gripe would have to be that it feels so general, you could easily apply this to many albums (i.e. replace Bannon with Mangum, Jane Doe with In the Aeroplane Over the Sea).
