Yeah, I don't really like American Idiot either. But I know a lot of people here sort of grew up with that album, so I can see why others may like it. I will say that it's definitely better than everything they've released after it, that's for sure.

nimrod is one of their best agreed. always loved the diversity on that album which makes it stand above dookie and insomniac for me
my favorite will always be american idiot though for pretty much the reason you mentioned hinkhall. probably the album that holds the most personal significance to me of any record

I'll just get it out there that American Idiot will always be my favourite of theirs, without it I wouldn't have bothered listening to anything other than pop music and it has a ton of nostalgic value. Still sounds amazing after all these years, monumental.
