Definitely man. this just has an awesome "wall of sound". In my opinion it has the best snare tone and drum sound in general. plus the basslines are sick and can actually be heard.

its ok dude i know what its like listening to music on laptop speakers i was 14 once too and i thought the more brickwalled the recording the better it sounded it had so much punch but then i got a arcam stereo system with sweet ass kef speakers and holy shit it changed my life, suddenly dynamics were poppin out the twatter left and right and i was hearing ghost notes and diff cymbal noises i thought only dogs could catch, did i even realise a ride bell could make more than one noise back then? the answer is most likely neck. going from remastered albums back to original was a huge improvement when back in the retard days it was the opposite it was crazy. its a shame you havent got past that level yet but i can help dude, even a lil amp and decent headphones will help you get past the first hurdle and i will give you some sweet recs to get you rockin in no time just give me a pm i am always here i promise

i didnt say the album sounded bad at all in fact its pretty good for how compressed it is i just laughed off the notion it has the best production ever. plus the debate about new and old in terms of production aint futile bro i'm sure you guys have heard about the loudness wars which i know you dont wana look into cos most of your fav albums are compressed to fuck and ignorance is bliss but rly look into it and give an old CD like rust in peace a listen then jam the remaster and prepare to have your ears blown up thanks to the wall of shite thats so popular these days with the kidz

I don't even understand completely what the loudness war actually is lol so yea, ignorance is bliss I guess.

Umm super short version, everybody's compressing their CDs to hell and mastering them super loudly to the point of clipping, making them sound like shit with no dynamic range whatsoever
