yea i know that, but that guy acted like the only reason people gave this low ratings is because they haven't listened to it enough or something, but if you like it, that doesn't matter anymore

That Decibel review is kind of awful.
I find them to be fairly accurate for a mainstream metal mag. I can't exactly judge that review though because I have yet to pick up my copy of this next Tuesday.

Sorry to curse but to me this album sounds like a clusterfuck of sound. Way too much going on for me. It has it's moments, but it's just way too much going on. It dabbles in too much. And I've listened to the album half a dozen times by now. I agree with Crysis and Decible's review.

Going to check this out soon although something tells me there isn't much metal to be heard on this because the guitars are buried underneath horns and what not. I've heard some samples and Musica in Tempora Belli has quite a sweet riff.
