Crawl is a good track, it's just the borrowing from Breath and somewhat anticlimactic (imo) chorus that makes it one of my least favorites. But like I said, I don't think there's a bad track on here.

Hm, looking at your ratings I can't say for sure, but you need to try them out. Blackbird is an amazing album. Listen to the songs Ties That Bind and Come to Life for a blast of rock, and Watch Over You is a great ballad. Try those songs out and you should have a good representation of Alter Bridge.

Yeah, for pure Alter Bridge listen to those, for Alter Bridge still with influences of Creed, try their first record One Day Remains.

Yeah, I will always recommend Blackbird first because that's a good way to introduce someone to Alter Bridge without any anti-Creed bias kicking in, then after that of course I recommend One Day Remains, it's a good album too.

Ties, if it wasn't for some solo here and there, and the unique voice of the vocalist, Creed would be

simply generic IMO. For me they're a 3 like a band.

I only go back to One Day Remains (which is highly influenced by Creed) because of the quality of

songs like One Day Remains, Find The Real or Mettalingus. Blackbird is for sure the real introduction

to Alter Bridge :D

Yeah, I never cared about Creed but I love Alter Bridge, although I never thought Creed was that bad.



I used to not like One Day Remains much aside from the few you mentioned and a couple others, but over

time I came to like it, it's slower but there are only a couple I don't like on it now. Of course

Blackbird completely annihilates it, and doesn't have a bad track.

The only song that could've been cut is Break Me Down, and that's still a good song. Other than that, it is most certainly not too long. I can't name a single moment of filler in the whole album.
