Dark Side, WYWH, and Animals are all 5s. This is a solid 4 to me. Would be a 3 - 3.5 if it wasn't for Echoes.

i could see how dark side gets boring for some people. 6/9 songs are on the radio, so the whole overplayed factor ruins it for a lot

tough for me to rank them. The Wall is the reason i love music as a whole. Pretty much the most important album I've ever listened to. but Wish You Were Here is my all time favorite. makes me sad that most people that love that album have no idea about the concept

Nag i know what you mean. If you listen to their earlier prog pieces leading up to Echoes its incredible to see the transformation. Its like they were developing two separate sounds throughout their early years.

i love listening to that progression, but of course Echoes is perfect so they stopped doing those epic songs.
