Man, this album is amazing. I can't decide if I love it more than IARB, but it's certainly close. Cemetery and Ahh...Men are definite highlights.
Max is incredible.

This is by no means their best effort. Take his from a die-hard Max Bemis fan. I think the guy is a strait up genius. ...Is A Real Boy was a pure masterpiece. Nothing will touch that record. This is a worthy try, but not his best by a long shot.

I love IARB just as much as the next guy, but c'mon, let's do away with the immense hyperbole. Saying "nothing will touch that record" is a bit extreme.

No but it helps to have the ounce of intelligence required to recognize when Bemis is poking fun at himself and when hes being serious which you obviously dont possess if you really think you got him by pointing out how they have songs named after girls.

I'm shocked that people dig this album. It sucks. I bought(yes actually bought) both IARB and IDOTG because i really thought they were great and when this came out I was seriously disappointed in it. The sound, in my opinion HAS overgone an overhaul and for the worse. Also, if you count all the songs about girls in general that Say Anything has done...you come up with a lot more than 3. Those are just that ones that have actualy names. Half the songs on this album are about Sherri and all of those ones pretty much suck. Hate Everything is fucking annoying as hell and Do better sounds like the first 60% of the music was stolen from the Sims 3...

Whoah, man, no need to get all nasty.
Plus, it's not like recognizing whether he's being serious or whatever is going to make the music better. I was really excited for this after listening nonstop to their other albums recently and this came as a disappointment. It's pretty average except for the couple of songs I could actually get into.
