This CD is very studio produced, the screamer live is good, the singer is a bit off,but the cd it's self is alright, just too many effects and not enough talent

do i get scene points now?

To those of you saying Sturgis ruined this record, you should hear what this band sounded like before they met Joey Sturgis. I hate Sturgis' production more than anyone, but this band couldn't do a damn thing without him

He does bring out the best in bands, but it just sounds unnatural. I totally agree with what you're saying, I've listened to a Motionless in White demo, and it sounds absolutely terrible.

His screams are a bit weak, but his cleans are like spot on.

Broken Statues is really nice in my opinion. But I'm with you on the rest, it sucks.

broken status is top. Dreams is good although it sounds nearly the same as the EP version and the title track is ok. Rest is pretty bunk.

cd is pretty good, screams are good, but vocals are WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY overproduced . seen these guys live and that singer couldnt hit one high to save his fucking life lol, u thought it was a whole new singer!!!! other than the singing album is a big improv from there frst ep.

For the genre its pretty good. I like how post-hardcore has transitioned in the last ten years or so from stuff like "they're only chasing safety" to this sound.. its become a lot more melodic& attempts to almost sound.. epic for lack of a better word.

I've seen these guys 3 times now, and i have to say that even with the auto-tune, they manage to sound pretty damn close to this live.

The album does end up having a lot of filler, but it has some serious shining moments. They have some pretty low-grade songwriting in my opinion, but it works well for their style.

overall, still a huge fan, and good for a listen(and headbang or two)

o minus the clean vox.. he is extremely auto-tuned..

thats the only thing i like about Ep's- they tend to go a lot lighter on the auto tune shit.

"For there is nothing without brotherhood"

I hadn't checked out a synth-induced album for some time, I really think they are doing something right with the vocal style and how each songs lyrics are not necessarily the generic filler that sometimes happens with a first release.
