I see. I'll stop writing in my native language anyway, it feels kind of awkward here.

Wow, kind of dissapointing, I was hoping theyd release something better, I didnt even like Papillon so much. Great review though.

Thanks Alexander. And yeah, I liked these guys more than most around here, so I was really disappointed.

Saw these guys last night cause The Antlers were opening for them. I kept waiting for them to play Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors but they didn't which made their set really disappointing for me... I didn't dig any of this stuff live. The one that sounded solid I think was the title track, which is much worse on the album, so combined with the review probably not gonna check this out.

Wow... They didn't play 'Smokers'. That's weird... I mean, it was the lead single from one of their 3 albums! I'd be disappointed too.
AliW mentioned to me a while back that their new stage show is pretty average. 2 people makes it a confirmation.

I beg to differ, i absolutely love this album. Im also a fan of the older Editors stuff, but i think this is a fantastic and individual album. It's great to see them move on, it took a lot of balls and was bound to lead to criticism.

Individual; yes. It took a lot of balls; yes. Fantastic; I think you're in the minority on that one.
I just hope they take the few positives from this & use it next time around.

Outside of Papillon it really is one of those what the hell were they thinking type of records.

Its probably safe to label this a St. Anger moment, just with horrific 8bit electronics in place of dustbin samples.

Hehe. Shhhh, don't tell Editors, you'll give them ideas for their next album.

..The synths SUCK RIGHT NOW. The first 2 1/2 minutes of the intro was alright then it went retarded...ugh verdict in 30 minutes.
I think this band has potential, you can hear some of their instrumentation, which has been ruined by one thing after another, but they still seem to keep interested, despite how bad this is getting to be.
You Don't Know Love is hilarious..lyrically it makes me chuckle a bit.

What you are trying to say is that one day they are going to fluke a suberb album.

You never know it seems they got some elements right...but this album is atrocious, I'm really thinking 1.5 so far. Papillion was decent, but even that can't make me escape the rest of the cheesy and boring synths that don't work for the band.
"Big Exit"...is...the lead singer is butchering it. I take that back the synths finish the job by 'ramping up' at 4 minutes...awesome lol
"Like Treasure" gets better as it goes on, but the synths and the majority of the singer's ineptitude to make either coherent lyrics or even make his voice marginally alluring really destroys this for me..like badly.
