I agree with BOTB. 'I Will Return' is hands down, the best song they have ever written. Ryan Knight shone in Arsis and maintains that lustre on Deflorate, notably his solo sections.

This album has grown a lot on me. I just hope Knight gets comfortable enough to bring even more to the writing process on the next album. If every song was more varied and more out of black dahlia's comfort zone like I Will Return, then this album would have been a masterpiece

I'm gonna give this one a listen right now.
Album rules. I could see why someone wouldn't like it because they really don't change anything, but I've always loved this band so this is still great for me. If you never liked the band then you're not going to like this album. It's as simple as that.
