LOVE Meshuggah - Album didnt really WOW me though....It took a while for older Meshuggah to sink in though (Although I've already had this album for over a year)...LOL Maybe with more spins It'll grow on me.
Still - Either Chaosphere, I, or Nothing is contending for my favorite Meshuggah album....and maybe Catch 33..."Catch 33" kinda just gets bland after about 30 solid minutes of non-stop Polyrhythms.
I still neg'd the fuck out of this review - Poor grammar, spelling, and overall analysis - Jens is a fucking killer vocalist to be able to do Monotone yell/screams consistently for 20 some-odd years. Thomas Haake is easily one of the more talented drummers in the world, regardless of what the music itself sounds like; Which BTW, was produced by Fredrik Nordstrom (Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, and countless other amazing acts), so the production quality is certainly not to blame. ALSO, I dont think Meshuggah has EVER used Keyboards (Most all of the "Keyboard" sounding stuff is Guitar Tapping).
So yeah, if you're gonna explain reasons why this is not a good album, please come up with more descriptive and legitimate reasons....

Oooh...a wee bit defensive now are we? (I know this is EXTREMELY hypocritical of me, but I've at least re-evaluated my social attitude since I joined here). Seems to me that you are simply too easily bored....Which is something that I too suffer from once in a while - But at least I'm not about to deprive myself of culturing music, "Just because its boring"

stfu dude the review is good. The reviewer finds the music boring and monotonous and describes it (quite eloquently) in the review. Just because theyre amazing on their instruments doesn't mean they're good.
