Though they also love Underoath, which annoys me. Since when I saw them live the joint was filled with scene girls ugh. Show was wicked though

wow i feel sorry for you in Kentucky...there must be a bunch of country music girls out there. ughhhh
well, that's what you'd think, but i live in Louisville, which is really just a smaller version of any other major American city, but with shittier music. Really not that much country where i'm at.

It's strange though because there have actually been quite a few really great and influential bands from louisville, like Slint, but i haven't found one person here that could recognize even a fourth of the bands on my iPod :/

InTheShallows, question, didyou happen to hear about this site from a movie site?

wow and that's saying a lot with a place like Sputnik. i guess you have a true "underground" scene there!

i know the feeling though, there's so many good indie bands where i live that just don't get heard, it really is annoying. cuz they're at least as good as half of what i hear coming from major label bands, and often a lot better.

haha and sorry, i assumed you were talking about Sput. so wow....most of the people in Louisville don't even know about their own bands? that really does suck.
