The album sounds like you're being given a tour of your impending doom. And it's just awesome. Too bad Dio passed on after this album.

fear is great,
anyone knows why they didnt release this under black sabbath naem?
|
| |
because its not black sabbath
|
| |
but it has 3 of the classic sabbath members. in fact, its essentially the same lineup as dehumanizer
|
| |
it is the same line up but sabbath was only on hiatus when they formed the band so iommi wanted this to be a separate thing

I think the best part of this album is the big heavy sound a lot like Dehumanizer. However the music sounds a little rehashed in my opinion therefore I much prefer the earlier Dio type of Sabbath stuff from the 80's over this.

Hans, you're like the biggest riff lover in the world, you can't deny that Fear and Bible Black riff harder than hell

It's definitely not their best work together and has lots of awkward moments and kinda bad lyrics, but the riffs are classic heavy Iommi and there are quite a few good tracks here despite their many shortcomings.
