This is so good. For some reason it always reminds me of Bon Iver but more urban and indie than folk

Yesyesyesyesyes. It's so sad. Honestly, it gets a good amount of playtime with me considering I have about 6 albums I haven't listened to yet. Bear and Two are soooo gooood. The lyrics and the booklet about the story they give you is amazing too.

ridiculously depressing. Peter Silberman is the Cormac McCarthy of music. Hands down.

I was actually referring to his writing abilities. Both of them are incredible writers. I'm just about to start No Country For Old Men but All The Pretty Horses was good and The Road was to die for. Especially when you listen to F# A# at the same time as you read it. Totally fits the book.

there's a bear inside your stomach
the cub's been kicking you for weeks
and if this isn't all a dream
well then we'll cut him from underneath
we're not scared of making caves or finding food from him to eat
but we're terrified of one another
terrified of what that means

fucking beautiful

especially if you've had an experience similar to this, in which case it hits hard, real hard.

I gave this to a friend who's mother nearly died from bone marrow cancer (the kind that the character in the story has) and she cried for about half of it the first time she heard it.

@musicaddiction101 have you heard mount eerie?

umm. No. Should I?

read blood meridian it's his least accessible but it's his best

I'll eventually read all of his books.
