I thought this album was terrible. Lars can't play drums, the guitars while good are still nothing spactacular, the vocals were pretty bad, and all the songs seemed to drag on and run together.

All the songs seemed to run together? So in your mind Sad But True and Nothing Else Matters run together? Although, I agree the drums weren't great and SOME guitar was nothing special. There was defiently some damn good guitar, though. Like in NEM the guitar was beatifully written. My Friend Of Misery and The Unforgiven were both, also well written. But that's just me. I can understand how a person might not like this album, but I think a 1 may be a bias.

Not really, I think that all the songs sound the same. Maybe not the same notes or rhythm, but when I listen to this album all of it sounds the exact same to me.

That's an unfair comparison. Those songs are pretty far apart from each other. When he says "run together", he's referring to the album as a whole. And a 1 isn't necassirly biased, as it's very easy to despise a band, Metallica included.

I think it does run together in some parts, but it has some really good moments too, thus my rating...

"Those songs are pretty far apart from eachother"
Okay so Through The Never and Nothing Else Matters sound the same?
"And 1 isn't necessarily biased"
That's why I said "may" be bias, silly This Message Edited On 06.02.06

Oh, quit comparing a bunch of Metal songs to the one (I don't really count "The Unforgiven") ballad on the album. This Message Edited On 06.02.06

Fine. But I still don't really see how the songs run together. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagreeThis Message Edited On 06.02.06

You can sum up this album in about four songs: the three really good ones and one of any of the others because they all sound the same.

The reason they sound so damn similiar is because they're all in the key of E minor, and revolve around the same distorted power chords.

I dont know if I already said, but good review.
And Scream, if he was stating his opinion, he would be saying that they "sound the same to him". And what he said was no where close to that. OK dumbass?
