This is top tier material. It has always surprised me that this record isnt celebrated that much here, because I also found it much easier to get into than most other BM. I also dont think the synths sound particularly amateurish, actually this record sounds a lot more professional than most early BM (although thats not a value judgement). On hordanes land they actually do sound amateurish, still awesome EP, though.

Amateurish might be the wrong word but they seem to flow (?) somewhere over the rest of the song and give me a strange feeling. I do not dislike them, as I said, they are somehow funny imo, but not really well integrated in the songs... I guess?

I don’t know if it just took hold of me later on & I got ‘sucked in’ but I enjoyed this more as the album progressed, looking forward to jamming it again.

the problem with hvis[...] is that the vocals are comically, hilariously bad. he sounds like a eunuch and it completely ruins the immersion of the bm
