Yeah, you could look at it that way too. I guess I see the glass half full because I did not like lead single 'Human'.

I see the glass as half empty because I hated the lead single 'Human', too much Brandon not enough Flowers... or should that be the other way around idk

Agreed Conor... Nothing is gonna make me want to come back to this in a few months time.

More like too much Brandon Flowers, not enough the 3 other guys.

Flamingo is shaping up to be much the same indulgent pop as this tbh

Needs more Vanucci.

Maybe it was those porno mo's that were powering them.

Completely agree Davey, hope Brandon can get his solo album past him so they can make another collectively great record between the 4 of them. I know the drummer really hated Day & Age and the direction they took with it.

Hot Fuss > Sam's Town >>> This

As you can see, mutatedfreek, I cared to disagree

Rosco, I have 'Hot Fuss' just a tad ahead of 'Sams Town. Same rating though.

I loved the way Ronnie was trying to be politically correct in his interviews, but it was obvious that he wasn't too thrilled about the direction this album took.

LepreCon got it right. Hot Fuss is a 5 for me, Sam's Town a 4.5 and this is like a 3.75, thinking about lowering it.

Both 3.5's but idk I think Sam's Town is more consistent, too much meh on the end of Hot Fuss for my liking. But yeah I don't think this band will ever be good again.

Hot Fuss was one of those albums that I shouldn't have liked because it was pretty different to what I normally listened to, and indeed what I still do normally listen to, but I have a history with it and I still crank it from time to time

I wouldn't write them off just yet.

Oh & of the 3 main reviews for this, I do think that Strikey gets it most right. Strikey (not Knott) for Staff.

Hot Fuss = Freshman year of HS for me. Sooo much nostalgia and one of the first albums I absolutely could not turn off.

Hot Fuss came out towards the end of High School for me, but that was still six years ago so that officially makes me old
