sorry
if it evens anything out, I think your relative disapproval of I Still Haven't Found is like, a crime
we each have bad opinions

every now and then i'll come across a comment in an album thread that's totally inappropriate and makes no sense given the thread in question, and it makes me wonder what's wrong with the poster and if they've got some sort of color-blinding mental condition where every sound & sight they hear & see is just a mundane shade of grey, which would be one of very few other conditions under which it would make any sense at all for them to make said comment
"Rock for people who live under one" in regards to Achtung Baby is one of those comments

nah joshua and war (and moments of unforgettable fire) are about equal with this

Joshua Tree & War are better than this, yep. ATYCLB is my fave, mostly for nostalgia, but I also feel like it's handily the best of their 2000s and onward stuff
and as good as this is, I've always been more drawn to Zooropa & Pop too - not necessarily saying they're "better," but much more interesting and replayable imo

how to dismantle is probably my favorite 2000s onward. It's hit and miss but so are atyclb no line and innocence and its highlights are better than the best songs from them 2000s onwards (tho kite is one of their best song period and if atyclb included levitate and ground beneath her feet in place of the mid section it might be about equal)

yeah Kite is my fave U2 song tbh
big personal connections with the lyrics and that string loop and Edge's solo are career highlights

This is just loaded with so many awesome moments. The guitar in the chorus of Zoo Station. The verses in Trying to Throw Your Arms Around the World. The fact that UltraViolet is easily the most underrated U2 song and basically the best song ever, and the Don't Let the Bastards BRING YOU DOWN line from Acrobat.

how could ultraviolet be the most underrated u2 song when acrobat is right after it tho
