Yeah, Savior's good . . . its the kind of song that you know they will release as a single merely on first listen.

I hated this album at first, purely because it didn't sound like the Rise Against I knew and loved. I listened to it a few more times, and I got a bit more into it. But I couldn't get into it like the other albums. Everchanging, Injection, Like The Angel, Dancing for Rain, those and many other songs almost eclipse 300 plays on my iPod, and the only song on this album that comes close to a large amount of plays is Saviour or Audience of One... Granted, it is a new album, but I can listened to their older records with renewed vigour everytime, but when I listen to this, it just doesn't feel like Rise Against. And yeah, I get that a band grows and changes their sound, but it's just that I don't LIKE their new sound... Oh well.

I miss the screams as well.

It is still slowly climbing the alternative rock song charts. It may stay up there a while.

It seems that rock songs have to top their charts first before they enter into the Hot 100. Either that, or have really strong digital sales the first week of a single's release. Since this was Rise Against third single from the album and a video hasn't been released yet, it kinda makes sense for it to not be so high. At least for now anyway.

Nice Atavanhalen

Yes its falling on the rock chart but not the alternative chart. On billboard, the "rock charts" usually features stuff by the gruffer-sounding bands (Nickelback, 3 doors down, seether, etc.). The alternative charts usually have stuff like Anberlin, Green Day, Muse, Weezer, etc. It should do well there.

Basically what we take from this is Billboard charts suck and don't play good songs (normally).

Hang on a tick, I just saw somewhere that they were filming the video for 'Savior', so if it has been released as a single for a while, then it never had a video. That could help.

I still think 'Audience of One' was a poor choice as a single.

Just wanna see them play 'Savior' live in Jan, as they didn't when they toured here in March.
