I've been listening to this about once a day for the last week. This is probably in the top 20 metalcore albums of all time, for sure.

Yeah, I think that's what's separating me from 5'ing it. The approach is great, and I love Knudson's guitar tone, I love their musical approach, particularly the gregorian chant section in "Man The Ramparts" (or the fact that the music was so open that it didn't feel the slightest bit out of place), I love how Knudson was able to switch genres/musical styles so convincingly (from Botch, to Minus The Bear). Etc. etc. It's all there, but there's just something missing.
