I remember listening to this the first time at my cousin's house when he wasn't home. That was about 1995, when Dookie had recently come out. I was about 8, and this blew me away. Even then, I had the most basic of feelings that if anything were to represent what my cousin and his generation were from my perspective (he was 16) it was this album and this band.
That, along with the freakin sweet cover art that drew me to it in the first place (lol), makes this album an incredible listen, and holds a special place in my heart.This Message Edited On 10.26.07

Haven't listened to this album in ages but I've just thrown it on for old time's sake and its as good as I remember. Bass work is one of the best parts about it.This Message Edited On 12.12.08

Basket Case is the best song ever so basically when you match this with classics such as Welcome to Paradise, Chump, Longview, Burnout, She you get a classic album.
