Ive slowed my Vinyl buying to only 180gs now, I just think they sound better. I am so OCD Ive ended up buying record cleaners,Static guns fking new inners and outer. Cost a fking fortune but so many new releases just dont sound great, where most 180s I own do.
Id buy Six Feet deep on a fking Dinner plate though if it worked.

I feel you, Im pretty meticulous too, put all my records in expensive new inners and outters and also have an assortment of record cleaners and brushes etc. haven’t invested in a spin cleaner tho, they just seem so goofy.
I don’t personally buy into the 180 gram thing too much, I prefer the weight and durability of them physically, but I don’t personally find the weight is a huge indicator of sound quality compared to other things.

I never did man but over time, At least on my set up and to my ears it just always sounds better, and you knwo what its like when you convince yourself of something on your set up, doesnt matter whether its right! lol| seems to always be less noise in general on them also and Obviously barely ever warped. Obviously its more down to your set up overall.
Yeah being super anal with your System is a nightmare. Whenever I go to a friends and theie records are fking crackling like shit and they dont have even a brush I go crazy

Also I’ll let you know when the specs on this VMP pressing are sent out if you want. It very well could be 180g. Sometimes they are sometimes they aren’t, doesn’t seem to be too much rhyme or reason to it as far as I can tell.

Honestly if you already clean your records and use new anti static inner asleevesI dont think its worth it, was about £70 /80$ and I barely use it, Its a pain in the arse tbh Unless you have major static problems, if you clean your wax no, mate.
