totally my favorite thursday record and its absolutely a shame this wasnt well received when it came out

I don't get the people who like Thursday but they don't like this album. It's very beautiful and passionate. Maybe they like the heavier stuff? I may be in the minority but I prefer their later stuff and not their straight up heavy early stuff. They always progressed with each album, incorporating heavy moments and slow sad ones. In fact their last record No Devolucion is in my opinion their best record.

I always think that this album is just beneath most Thursday albums and then I jam it and remember how underrated it is.

yeah onion is right. Their three best albums are City, Common, Devolucion. In no order except Common is the worst of the three.
|
| |
Common is third best, but War is up just behind No Dev and this is on par with Waiting

I had a hard time getting into Common Existence when it was released, but it has aged so well. This album is also incredible.
Honestly my favorite release by Thursday is always switching up, save for Waiting and usually not Full Collapse either

As I’ve gotten older No Devolucion has eclipsed Full Collapse. Especially with all the post-punk textures all over it
|
| |
No Devolucion starts off a bit weak for me but by the end I'm like fuck this is the best.
This is my favourite but No Devolucion is damn close.
|
| |
The second track on that album is No Answers and it starts off weak!?
