really been digging this one lately. it's the most laid-back of their albums, with a lot of vocal harmonies and folk parts, and each successive album was heavier and darker until Jumalten chilled back out. nice stylistic arc to choose from depending on your mood.

Voimasta has almost definitely surpassed this in my eyes. Still, 4th best (pending full czech) Moonsorrow is still superior to what most bands can muster

haha, trying to decipher this and thinking I get it only to immediately forget why it works.

This is still fantastic at what it's going for but I do vibe slightly more with "aaaahhhAAAAHHHHH" of late. I wasn't always this way.

Maybe one day I'll finally (re)embark on my journey beyond "V: Hävitetty" as I've been satisfyingly unrushed thus far. I hear there's a (long) EP worth checking out also.
