Artists that don't listen to their critics don't have much of a chance of improving, to be honest. Honestly, I don't care that ICP think they're so good, as they're just blatantly not. What I care about is all these idiots coming up on sputnik (and other online forums) and trying to defend them using the worst possible excuses they can think of. Not that there really is any excuse for liking ICP other than 'taste doesn't necessarily reflect musical quality', which is fair enough.
I don't hate people who like ICP, just the idiots who make up most of their internet fanbase. Some day soon, I hope I can just see someone come on one of these forums and say 'Well, I like ICP, but that's just me.' or something along those lines WITHOUT resorting to pathetic excuses or insults, for a change.
