Emo, Mezmerize isn't as good as any other album SOAD have done, but it's still worth playing and listening to. Once you get Hypnotize (Mezmerize's sequel), the twelve tracks on it will blow you away with a much stronger power than its predecessor.
EDIT: Metal is actually my favourite genre in music. I like that it has the power to make you mosh and shout, plus the instrumentation is a perfect mix of distortion and clean sound.This Message Edited On 12.21.05

Yer great review, i like it alot. I wouldnt give it anything above 4 thats for sure..... its not brilliant but it has some nice tracks on it. BYOB and lost in Hollywood are tops, the rest is all vastly different to the old SOAD i was acustomed to. god save SOAD i say, bring the old guys back.

mmmm i loved there old stuff but im no 100% keen on there new stuff...... it's not them..... some tracks are like B.Y.O.B and also Ciagro, all the fast stuff ... but the other's are well crappy IMO

The best song on here in my opinion are Question, BYOB, and This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song (dumb title and a long title, but crazy song, in a good way).

I think SOAD are going the same way as KoRn, one or two excellent albums in their career, but then it all goes down-hill. SOAD are finished i think.

I think both bands have a little left in them. SOAD need to go back to hwere they started, heavy, so do KoRn. Yes Hypnotize is a ok album, Obscentinity of something i cant remember what its called lol thats a mad song. Kill'Rock'and Roll was alright, it wasnt a song that they should of done, another band yes.
