This album is the best of all theirs, definatly like both Defacto and TMV more than At the drive in by a long shot.

This is more immediately entertaining and rewarding than In/Casino/Out but both are ultimately awesome.

I hate when people do that. You make it seem like The Mars Volta were bound to be carbon copies of At The Drive-In. Obviously they wanted to try something different, therefore it's not strange.

Wow, Relationship of Command is absolutely AMAZING.

Invalid Litter Dept. blew me out of the water. Cedric is a poet.

@StreetlightRock,

How can you think this is good, and The Mars Volta not? Have you even listened to De-Loused in the Comatorium?!This Message Edited On 10.02.07

Invalid Litter Dept. makes no sense at all, however it is still my favorite off this.

ATDI and TMV are quite different. And De-Loused is the reason I originally hated them.

I'm rather curious as to what others think of the two bonus tracks that some of the CDs have, Catacombs and Extracurricular, since I freaking love Catacombs.

Meh, they're ok I just tend to turn off the album after Non-Zero Possibility, it's such a fitting conclusion.

I freaking love Catacombs too.

But Electric's right, if i'm doing a full album listen it ends at Non-Zero Possibility.

Otherwise any other time the songs come up its all good.

What? It's about the scores of women who are raped and killed on the way home from their jobs in factories and found randomly scattered in the desert. Hence 'Invalid Litter Dept."
