not that there is anything wrong with that album (i wouldn't know) or him in general, but from the few things i did hear of him his music is to be considered neo-classical at most and it is somewhat ironic that you call out toxin on his "involvement" with classical music when an olafur arnalds album is among your 3 top rated classical albums.
to be fair though, this is mostly to blame on sputniks still awful genre system

Fair enough, tree. I consider Olafur's album to be more minimalist than classical, but you could consider it classical too. I try not to rate a lot of old classical pieces here, because I don't particularly see a point. I've just often thought of this to be a universally appreciated work by classical fans of all.
Give Olafur a go, tree, if it sounds like your kind of thing, especially Eulogy
