I thoroughly enjoyed this album. Before you tear them apart for "unoriginality", remember that these are 18, 19 year old kids, and even without that being a crutch, this is still an enjoyable album. Then again, I do love "deathcore".

I bet most of you guys like bands like Mastodon and Crowbar.
You talk about how bland or bad the cd is but let us see you and another pseudo goth/metalhead do on guitar what this guy does by himself. It also sounds just as good live. Also, if you can do what the drummer does when he is blasting through the songs, then you guys can talk shit about this.
I think it's funny when people are like, I hate this sub-sub-sub-genre but I like this one. Metal is metal. It comes in different styles just like your baggy ass trip pants, your sweet spiked neck bands and your different colored eyeliner. Just keep listening to "awesome" stuff like Devil Driver and quit getting online to complain about how someone is out sounding different than most other bands.

i kinda like veil of maya and even I admit they lick nuts from time to times, sensless breakdowns are what this band does best

cocaine you could have saved a lot of time and typing by replacing this review with:
"I thoroughly dislike deathcore."
this cd has many pitfalls like the overabundance of breakdown sections, but it is a very powerful release from a young band especially within the genre.
