Really? Any of them? Sh!t man.....

It's about time though, maybe they'll check your profile to see your other reviews, that's actually how I find Miseration (which kicked ass btw).

Use google.

I can't really find this anywhere. Anyone want to send it to me?

Sure.

I like how you changed the intro, but you still ended it with an equally as long run on sentence.

Placing less emphasis on the soft to loud dynamics and instead using their progressive melodies amongst the heavy death metal riffing, they still manage to keep the intensity going throughout and when listening it will often provide a very unusual sensation, where the growls of the lead singer mould over the mid-tempo prog melodies, but my god, these guys know how to pull it off well, and what could have been a recipe for disaster has turned out to be a stunning formula.

sorry, but I really hate run-ons.(though I'm sure I'm equally as guilty of them). I'm listening to this right now!

Just putting a period between "...mid-tempo prog melodies. But my god,..." Fixes everything

Cheers, I've been trying to improve my writing on my newer reviews, the run-on problem is almost always been pointed out when I have it critiqued by people.

Great review! I hadn't listened to this band until just now after reading this, and I will definitely be picking this up. The songs on their myspace page are very nice.

Good man, and welcome to the site btw. If you like Progressive Death Metal like you seem to do, you should definitely check out Disillusion's amazing album; Back To Times Of Splendor (just search for them on this site, top right), you'll love it.

No offense, but please don't spam up my review with random comments like that. One look at his profile and you would see that the guy already likes Opeth. And also;

No need for the (imo)

Actually, this site does make you feel like you have to clarify that statements like that are in fact, just your personal opinion...

That being said, BtToS doesn't kill Opeth...it slaughters them...with a large chainsaw...

edit: Hell, I like this album better than half of Opeth's stuff tbqhThis Message Edited On 04.06.08

I can't get into Opeth. I got into this really easily. I just assume (imo) after anything everyone says, since it is an opinion site.

Exactly how I feel. I hate the fuckers around here that still continue to down talk to people because of their opinion. It all depends on your exposure to the genre.

Love the few tracks I have on my computer by these guys. Still awaiting album in mail !

haha ya - it's amazing. I always admire when a band can make such a good debut album. I've actually been listening to a lot of great debut albums this past month: Zonaria, Wyrd, Miseration, Island.

So would you guys cosider this band death or melo-death? IMO some of this band’s music could be classified as death metal and some as melo-death. Would you guys agree?

Progressive Death Metal.

Yes, it's melodic, but prog death can be melodic too, just ask Edge of Sanity.
