I am the exact opposite. I didn't expect to like this, because I'm not a big folk or power metal fan, but I gave it a shot and I thoroughly enjoyed it; and still do.

the gimmick doesn't really make the album any better or worse. It's the actual music that will either last or be forgotten. Overall, the album is well-done, but not really that great.
