90s metalcore is fucking fantastic gwynn. a lot of new shit gives the genre a bad a rep but if you dig a little theres some incredible stuff.

I'm really starting to take a liking to 90's metalcore, alot of it I just never knew about before. But there's alot of lesser known metalcore bands that put out great albums in the mid 2000's gwyn, shit really started getting whack in 08 with Attack Attack and shitty crab and pop-core bands that tarnished it for good.

thinking a 4-4.5
and i just checked some other metalcore from the 90s and its pre sweet yeah, tho ive always preferred more straight forward hardcore
funny that my favorite metalcore is not only not from the 90s but it also might be my fav album in general, despite everything

For that reason Demi, I honestly think that's why this is better than Jane Doe. It doesn't have to resort to being overly dissonant to get it's point across plus I can actually listen to this whenever I want. I have to be in a particular mood for Jane Doe. That and the first half of JD is inconsistent as all hell.
