Drumming is ok

I’m with ya. Too much sheen.
| |
Uh oh, this one got Frogstomp'd hard.
| |
This really isn't all the polished I dunno where you guys think the sheen is coming from.
| |
Major label razzmatazz
| |
How does the sheen make it any worse? The production doesn't take away from how much the riffs bulldoze the listener's ears during the groove metal sections. Sure, this isn't as raw as Strap It On (which is my fave Helmet record, for the record), but this still kicks ass

Need to jam this one again. Never really liked it as much as Meantime because I found that one crushes more, but maybe my opinion has changed
| |
Yea the bass is sick... And when the riffing sets in following the intro to I Know there’s no holding back.
| |
This slays
| |
Treads a fine line between slays and soulless
| |
Must have really big feet then
| |
🩰
| |
these feet were made for frogstomping and that's just what they'll do
| |
Lol yeah, why is Frogstomp's image up there?
| |
Milquetoast is such a tune.
| |
Milquetoast, great track yeah.
| |
it's a cliché pick, but my fav Helmet tune for sure
| |
All about Street Crab baby
| |
Biscuit's for Smut is underrated
| |
hell yeah, that bassline is super rad
