The marshall mathers lp is better, but this has a lot of iconic songs as well.

The Marshall Mather's LP is better of course, but only by a hair. Well, at least for me.

This album is great. Not too fond of 13 or 12 though.

I do not think marshall mathers is as good as this, there is something about the beats and his rapping that i enjoy a lot more on this album... ie. beat of 97 bonnie & clyde and all his rhymes on just dont give a fuck/still dont give a fuck

this one was just had much more impact when it came out, there was nothing else that ever sounded like this before SSLP dropped

MMLP is definitely awesome, but didn't seem quite as revolutionary (also because by that time everyone and their mom were buying like 3 copies of it and MTV played the My Name Is video about 5 times an hour)

Really starting to appreciate this after getting hooked on the MMLP. A bit darker and a bit funnier.

97 Bonnie & Clyde is great when you've heard Kim before, lus the beat is ghastly as fuck. Hell, I might like this as much as MMLP. Also, I don't agree that any songs were better on SSEP than on SSLP.

Then I got up and ran to the janitor's storage booth

Kicked the door hinge loose and ripped out the four inch screws

Grabbed some sharp objects, brooms, and foreign tools

"This is for every time you took my orange juice,

or stole my seat in the lunchroom and drank my chocolate milk.

The kid's a genius. Storage booth, four inch screws, foreign tools, orange juice.

Best.... Em album... ever.

One of the best mainstream rap albums too, IMO. Possibly the best in my book.

Still listen to this at least once every 2 weeks. From top to bottom one of the few from the late 90's/2000's (non-metal) releases I still jam.
