Nespithe is not a thrasher. It's a complex album, same for Psychostasia.
You've got to be kidding me, just on the last page you said:
Show me a death metal album better than this.
Now I do and you say they aren't "thrashers". Jesus fucking christ.

So much frustration itt.

Crysis........Can you tell me some albums that are like Scepter of the Ancients. Do you know any other vocalists with the range of Chalky? AngelofDeath as well. I know both of you guys know your shit. Also bands like Decapitated. And dont just list a bunch of tech-death. I want albums that are similar to those bands

Listen to Cryptopsy's None So Vile.

I have it. It is great. Anything else.

I'm not trying to be a hard ass, but Nespithe is not your normal death metal album, agree? I mean I'm wanting you to show me something that is more vicious and unrelenting than this. Nespithe is complex and all over the place and when I listen to it I zone out and try to pick out all the guitar changes. It's a hell of an album, I agree, but it's flavor is quite different from most other death metal albums. Don't crucify me for this but I'd label it as Progressive or Technical Death Metal? Is that right?

RiffOclock isn't rasputin's brother. He's ShadowRemains brother.

Incantation - Onward To Golgotha: too monotonous, guitar is way too low in the mix. Not bad, though, will check out some other albums by them.
Demigod - Slumber of Sullen Eyes: this album most definitley owns. A bit slower in parts but that doesn't take away from this album, it only adds to the feel of it. This is a great album. I'm definitely going to spin this one more.
Decapitated - too many breakdowns, but the music isn't bad at all. I like it.
Psycroptic - Scepter of the Ancients: the singer isn't doing it for me atm. Might be an acquired taste. Will check more of them out.
Cryptopsy's - None So Vile: this isn't my flavor of metal(Technical Death?). I don't like wankery. This lacks scope and direction and seems to rely on musical proficiency to WOW me.
Funebrarum - The Sleep of Morbid Dreams: this is pretty good and is definitely crushing. The guitars are like a chainsaw. Will check out more of these guys.

Valerious the singer of psycroptic isnt doing it?????????? He is the best death metal vocalist imho. Keep listening itll grow. And decapitated has too many breakdowns? They dont even barely play breakdowns lol
|
| |
I've already listened to two of their songs, man, and there is multiple parts in it where I don't hear anything but drums going. Is that not a breakdown?
|
| |
not really a breakdown is a two step. And you cant have a breakdown without the guitars going lol
|
| |
What's the difference?
|
| |
a breakdown is very chuggy and is usually placed in a song to change it up or to make it heavier
|
| |
Interesting. Thank you.
|
| |
no prob bra. And if you wanna get into decapitated their best albums are winds of creation, nihility, and carnival is forever. IMO
|
| |
there are so many better dm albums than this, rly?
carbonized - for the security
convulse - world without god
infester - to the depths... in degradation
molested - blod-draum
to name a few
