The fact of the matter is of all types of music when it comes to ignorant people
metal is the one associated with devil music. I am not associating it with devil
music but there is a stigma about metal in it's many many forms from Black Metal
Death Metal all the way to Math Metal? from those that don't listen to it with an
open ear. And again yes devil music could be taken literally with some European
Black Metal Bands. So once again not dissing metal as devil music. My point was
to
say that country sucks (add your own animal here) balls. And AVX7 looks to be
going the way of country with their last track. Basically all this talk about this cd is
to justify my purchasing this cd at the local Target. I figured COE was cool this
could be as well. I am more into hip hop like TI Nas and Kanye but I got
a killer stereo system and cracking up rap music isn't the same as cranking up
some Cannibal Corpse or Pantera. Until I got on this forum I thought System of a
Down and Coheed and Cambria were heavy. In the end if according to the majority
of you all I did was buy a mediocre cd, at least the sound quality sounds great on
my Martin Logans. I work at an AV store and was showing some speakers to
someone who likes metal. I popped in track 8 which is Lost on the cd which shall
now remain nameless and the customer told me it was a bad copy of Dragon
Force's style. I downloaded some songs from Dragon Force and was amazed at
how fast they play. As for the comment about the devil horns in the air - I was a
little high

I seriously have no idea what you're talking about man. You need to listen to some more metal. And Cannibal Corpse is shit.

Are you kidding me? Cranking up some cannibal corpse is the best way to get people to yell at you. And just think, if they could understand the lyrics, they'd call the cops too!

i lived in a mostly black apartment complex and i cranked pantera and lamb of god all the time. if they had a problem i never heard about it and they are just that much smarter for letting it slide.

even where i am now,i crank meshuggah and let the sub woofer go wild. i haven't heard anything. let some lame person try to call the cops when i got to hear friggin hip hop bumping all the time and i can't play my metal,it would be on.

they've always been cocky, they just aren't metal anymore. They're a new genre, it's called sucky post metal glam rock.

Ive decided to bump this up to a 3. This was on the fence between good and bad, and after a lot of listens I started to like it a lot more.

Avenged Sevenfold have put fourth what they call the real Avenged Sevenfold and as a listener I can’t complain, (especially considering no other A7X album kept me listening more) the band has continued to develop their own sound, a great combination of legendary influences the band members share, ranging from Pantera, Gun’s and Rose’s, Dream Theater (most notably their lead guitarist John Petrucci) Metallica, and many other beloved Rock/Metal bands of the past. That pretty much why i feel a 1/5 is absolutley ridiculous im a huge fan boy granted but i would hav to give it nothing lower of higher then a 4 by far my fav album by this band im not one of those emo kids who didnt slit their wrists cus "seize the day" brought a tear to their eye either im a true fan their since 1999, saw them in So. Cali when their set consisted of only darkness surrounding and too end the rapture so bah too all you haters who cant appreciate progression sorry they didnt jus try an sound like ur typical rock band PEACE

We need to make a thread where we take all the fanboys defending this album and compare all their posts, and see which one is the funniest
