Miss Machine is definitely a great album, but I love them equally. And yesssss Colors is the shit.
Pittman this is one of those albums for me where it's really more like a 4.6/4.7, but not a 5 :o

Yeah Obfuscation I know what you mean. This is one of those albums that introduced me to Jazz and just changed my way of looking at music in general. I figure that is 5 worthy, but a 4.5 is understandable.

true to some degree, but mind-blowing for its time, and it reinvented the structure of jazz, it changed music forever

Sure, I'll accept that, though I guess I don't value impact as much as others. It's unarguably an important album, but as for pure enjoyment, I don't like it as much as some other jazz records. The first car was mind-blowing, and it has a place in history, but it doesn't mean a better thing can't come along.

Kind of Blue is THE definitive jazz album.
I couldn't agree more and this album helped create many of the musical masterpieces that would come for 40+ years. And should help create many more artist and albums that will become classics for years to come.
