Thrice said that a cover was definitely gonna be on the album, I'm pretty sure it's the Earth disc too. I never really listened to Frodus, but I heard that one of the songs sounded like a Frodus song, so that's the band they are probably covering.

edit: yeah it's definitely The Earth Isn't Humming. You can hear it when Dustin sings "fallll down."This Message Edited On 10.16.07

Firebreather reminds me so much of Isis. Awesome.

just picked this up about 4 hours ago...in the middle of water right now.

pretty fantastic, not quite as good as Vheissu (which is my favorite album ever...), but so far on the same level as their previous albums.

Oh. I thought people were just guessing when they were citing Frodus. That song is pretty great and I imagine Thrice's acoustic rendering of it will be pretty good. I'm still a little disappointed about them covering on an album that's supposed to be their own original rendering of the 4 elements. Whatever though.

So I'm listening, will post my thoughts soon, but I just wanted to say how when I was just listening "Firebreather," I realized how much it sounds like an Isis song.

Can't believe someone actually gave this a 1. It doesn't deserve that in any way.

The Whaler is a great track. Btw, wasn't there a review for this cd that rated it a 2? And now it's not here anymore
