a few points to make:
first off, their early stuff, the stuff that got them popular (MIDDLE IF U WILL LOL), and this album are all pretty different, soundwise.

secondly, even if this album was a re-hash of frail words collapse and so forth, that still doesn't mean it's not solid you stupid twat.

thirdly, just because you "grew out of this stuff" that still doesn't mean it's a very poor album.

seriously, stop trying to prove how true of a mettlehead you are, because in reality, you listen to mainstream garbage that has even less emotion than alid.

Its just a difference of opinion that your arguing about and it doesn't really make sense. Once again, get your retarded, 'hardcore kid' head out of your ass and think about how stupid you really sound by arguing over opinions. Secondly, why would me listening to mainstream shit have anything to do with this argument? AILD are a pretty big band in the metal world so how does that even make sense? I never said I was a metal head and your insults and rebutles are weak at best. Go listen to your faggy breakdowns.

Oh and for the record, I don't dislike metalcore. It was simply a phase in my music tastes that I sometimes come back to. This Message Edited On 04.29.08

And I can say the same about you. We are just butting heads right now so I'm going to agree to disagree.

How so might I ask? I simply stated an opinion like everyone else does and I get attacked for it? Give me a break. I think I'm being taken way out of context.

And yes, my insult was weak but it was deserving. Its not like I'm pushing my opinion onto other people. I could give two shits about how other people feel about this album. I back up my reasoning all the time and yet some people make it their mission to be fucking assholes on this website just to spite the fact that I dislike an album. This Message Edited On 04.29.08

Im not attacking you in any way, but why is this rehashed...its sounds completely different from their last two albums. Way more thrash influcesed, and I can't find one riff that sounds like a riff from the other albums. To me, they sound like a completely different band.

This is a solid album by one of the better bands in the American Metalcore scene. Period.

This sounds very rehashed from the previous albums to me and therefore I'm bored with it. It has a nice touch of thrash influence on it, I'll give you that, but thats really only on one song, Within Destruction. And I'll also credit them with tightening up their songs a bit since Frail Words Collapse, and thats about it. Same melodic hooks, no variation in his scream, and very, very back to basics sounding. They are like a stripped down Gothenburg + every other metalcore band out there. Thats just my opinion, even though some people on this website like to believe that my opinion is void because they THINK this album is good.

Best damn album AILD every released by far...I liked their previous works but never categorized them as a favorite until I heard this when it came out.

Hahahahaha I can't agree on that considering they have been doing their style of music forever. They have worked hard to get to where they are today. But I can kind of see why some people would think otherwise.
