I don't understand why the f*ck everyone hates this album. I think it is really good, almost all of the songs (with the exception of Epic, Clean Sheets and No one cares) are very catchy, sing a long and have good lyrics and some awesome moods and riffs. I have been permaspinning this CD in my car for the last four weeks and it hasn't grown old yet.



This is my favourite release that I own (plus Linkin Parks Hybrid Theory and Meteora, Three days grace's One-X and debut and Atreyus previous release A Death Grip On Yesterday).



I don't understand why everyone has to attack a band that does what they like and do it well. And BTW what is wrong with Alex's singing? His screaming/growling is awesome, and he sings pretty well too (not as well as their drummer, forgot his name, though).



Highlights are Doomsday, Falling Down, Becoming the Bull, When Two Are One, Lose It, Can't Happen Here, Slow Burn, Blow, Lead Sails (and a paper anchor) and The Squeeze. The rest songs are OK-ish but not really worth mentioning, but they blend well with the rest of the album.



Would give it a 5 if it weren't for a few OKish tracks.

Withintention, I just took it as an example. I have listened to a lot of bands but I haven't found anything that has connected to me and moved me emotionally than Linkin Park, Three days grace and Atreyu. Sure there are other bands that I listen to for variation, but none of them really grabs me LIKE THAT.



So if I pick all my CDs by those three crap bands and burn em up, what SHOULD I listen to? What is good music?
