I have to agree with those that say this band is a tad on the overrated side. I do enjoy this album, but it's not the death metal god-status that many make it out to be.

I find it hilarious that people complain about Nergals vocals being too layered (and I seriously doubt most of you even know what that means) yet most of you listen to music that contain the same type of over processed vocals.
With that said, this album slays from start to finish. I have no idea why I hated this in the first place.

Masterpiece? No. Damn good album and the best i'd listened to in a while when I first listened to it? Hell ya. This is easily a 3.5 the first time through and since then it's just grown on me. Slaves Shall Serve is so amazing live.
