I'm really considering giving this a 5. This album just strikes a chord with me few albums do (no pun intended). It's also fairly important as my frist "emo" album.

I'm really on the fence, it'll take a couple more listens to figure it out. By the way I'm really enjoying Saetia too Ilu, thanks for that.

Hrm... I think I'll give this a try. It sounds pretty good.
EDIT: 'Twas awesome. I'll rate it after a few more listens, though. For some reason, after listening to this, I think I can deal with listening to emo a bit more, as I was usually turned off by screaming. This Message Edited On 11.04.07

Trust me; just stick around here and you'll get linked to some sick artists in the emo genre that won't make you want to close your ears.

Yeah, after listening to this, I tried out Gospel and also rather liked that. I guess I ought to try hearing Circle Takes the Square, since the first time I heard it, I just didn't like the screaming. (And thus why I loved Sputnik's addition of listening parties.)

Hey, can someone give me a URL for Nick's interview with Buster? The band ripped all the shit off their website. There was a band I wanted to check out that he name dropped....

I need to get this. It sounds extremely interesting.

It really is, one of the best albums of the year, hands down. It's also fairly accessible as far as emo goes.

I'm listening to this again, and I don't really know what I was thinking with the 2.5 rating. That will change as soon as I'm finished with it. I've kinda lost my taste for the emo genre, but this has kinda brought some of it back. It's inspired me to check out The Pax Cecilia, at least.

This nothing like Pax Cecilia. In case you didn't know that.

This is a brilliant album. One of the best of 2007 I'd say.

Wanted to say thanks so much to Sputnik for exposing people like myself to music that they had no idea existed. This band, among many others, have rocked my world because of all you.
More specifically, I like the production on this record. It reminds me of old Sweep the Leg Johnny records in the rough feel of it, and the drums are always clear as a bell. I had read a bunch of criticism on this thread and was wondering what sound y'all were looking for?
Anyway rock on, and maybe I'll write a review or something, I enjoy getting blammed.

Definitely. The dynamics in this are killer.

Still need to check this out

I really like this. Even Kiss from a Roach is good to me, and I usually don't care for instrumentals.
Ron Ghousley slays.
